Tales of Draqoyin - Too Exposed - Part 3

VHS tape Tales of Draqoyin - Part 3 - Too Exposed

In doubt about whether to take 2 grams or stick to 1.5, we decided to stick with 1.5 grams.

Once we had everything packed, we jumped on our bikes to head to the lake. It's a warm summer day, and we're going to trip by the lake.

Upon arrival, we look around, "it's quite crowded, huh?" we say to each other. We find a spot under a young tree, the leaves are fresh green, and the trunk is less than 10cm thick. This time we've prepared a bit better for the nausea; we brought some squash. After settling down on the blanket under the tree, we drink the potion.

Yawning...

From the moment the trip started, the sun began to intensely burn on my clothes. The little tree above me starts to have transparent leaves. We've already had our first outing, and upon returning, we look at each other as if we have a connection. At the same time, we look at the chocolate bonbons lying on the blanket and yeet them into the shade. Before the trip really kicks off and we can't walk properly anymore, we decide to pull the blanket into the shade of the large group of trees, about ten meters away.

With a lot of struggles, we drag our stuff into the shade and plop down on the blanket. This trip is quite different. We occasionally dip into our own little world, and it gives a nice yo-yo effect to the outside world. A group of people starts to form at our old spot. A couple of older Turkish folks have settled under the young tree; a parasol, table, folding chairs... They've got it all figured out there! Oh, here comes a cooler too. I disappear into my world again, and around me, I hear the buzz of the crowd, and I enjoy the bustle they're in. They're so busy with themselves...

We come back to "reality" at the same time again and lie down with a few words spoken. To our left, the group of young people has experienced a spike in hormones. The girls have just made a trip to the water, and one of them made eye contact with a boy. They come back to tell the group that stayed lying down. The girl's voice is shrill and echoes in my head: "... we're standing there by the water ... he looks at me ... splashes water towards us! ..." she echoes, over and over; a loop. Afterwards, my friend said, "I really thought, this is life now... Yup! I better start accepting it...". Hit the nail on the head.

While the girl is still echoing, the group of Turks starts to expand. They've noticed that the sun is getting too hot, and the parasol doesn't offer shade to everyone. They've decided to find the nearest shade. Next to us... The rest of the group has settled down not half a meter away. Hello? Personal space? Too close!

As we step in and out of our little world, I lie on my stomach, peering at how the group is getting bigger and bigger. It's beautiful to see how everyone can be so busy with this and that, while we're there, spacing out.

We start to become more aware of ourselves again, it's possible to move a bit, and we decide to move our blanket far away from the large group. The echo of the girl from that group of young people has also faded away, and we find the edge of the shade again. The sun will come to us soon, just as it will go down, we'll feel the last rays before it gets too chilly. We crawl back onto the blanket and start picking up our old conversation again. The world is behind a veil, we're in our bubble.

Would I say this is recommended? Ab-so-lute-ly not. The environment, on the other hand, was perfect. But not with so many people around you. I didn't feel really comfortable during this trip and could only relax and enjoy the trip for a short period. Next time, I'll just lie in the garden again.
