The truffles may dry out a bit during shipping, which reduces their weight slightly. However, the strength of the truffles remains the same as the dosage stated on the packaging.
The most common and effective way to use truffles is to eat them on an empty stomach. You can also make tea from them by cutting them into small pieces, pouring hot (but not boiling) water over them and letting them steep for 5 to 10 minutes. Then drain the blue tea, and repeat the process by pouring hot water over the sclerotia again.
